Get the whole family into the Halloween spirit with these fun and easy-to-make mini pizzas! Perfect for all ages, these Halloween pizzas use our Sandwich Slices, which have a full serving of veggies in each, making them a deliciously nutritious choice. Gather your cookie cutters and favorite toppings for a Halloween pizza party that’s both spooky and parent-approved!

Ingredients:

OA Gourmet Original or Italian Sandwich Slices

• Mozzarella cheese slices

• Cheddar cheese slices

• Green bell pepper

• Black olives

• Pizza sauce

• Halloween cookie cutters (bat, pumpkin, ghost)

Instructions:

1. Pre-toast the sandwich slices: Place them on a baking sheet and toast at 425º for 3-5 minutes, until lightly golden. Spread 1-2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on each slice.

2. Shape & assemble your spooky pizzas: Use the Halloween cookie cutters to create fun shapes from the cheese and toppings. Here’s how to make each character:

Bat Pizza

1. Use the bat-shaped cutter to cut a slice of mozzarella cheese.

2. Slice a black olive crosswise, then slice each half lengthwise again to make quarter-moon shapes. These will be the eyes for your bat!

3. Place the mozzarella bat on your pizza and add the olive eyes.

Jack-O’-Lantern Pizza

1. Cut a slice of cheddar cheese with the pumpkin-shaped cutter.

2. For the eyes, cut two small triangles from a mozzarella slice. For the mouth, shape a larger triangle or customize the shape to look like a spooky grin!

3. Add a green bell pepper “stem” cut into a trapezoid at the top of the pumpkin.

Spider Pizza

1. Use a round cookie cutter or the top of a glass to cut a circle of mozzarella cheese for the spider’s web.

2. Slice an olive lengthwise in half for the spider’s body.

3. Cut another olive lengthwise, then crosswise to make eight legs. Place four legs on each side of the body to complete the spider look.

Ghost Pizza

1. Cut a ghost shape from a slice of mozzarella cheese.

2. Thinly slice a black olive for the eyes and place them on the ghost’s “face.”

Bake: Arrange your mini pizzas on a ventilated rack on top of a baking sheet and bake at 425º for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the toppings are gooey and delicious.

Serve & Enjoy: Allow the pizzas to cool slightly, then enjoy! Save any extra cheese scraps for snacks or other meals.
