If you're craving a juicy, loaded burger but want to skip the bun and the added sugar, this burger bowl hits the spot. It’s got all the flavor of your favorite fast food combo—savory beef, seasoned fries, creamy sauce—without the carb crash.

Bonus: the high-protein burger sauce brings nearly 5g of protein per serving, and serving it with our low-carb toasted Sandwich Slices tacks on another 10g of protein and 2 servings of veggies. Wins all around.

What’s in the Bowl

  • Sweet potato fries – seasoned with 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp garlic, 2 tbsp arrowroot, and 1/4 tsp cayenne and enough olive oil to coat. Bake or air fry until golden, about 30 minutes at 400º for the oven or 10-15 minutes in the air fryer.

  • Seasoned ground beef – cooked with 1 tsp salt + ½ tsp pepper per pound

  • Shredded cheddar cheese

  • Burger sauce (recipe below)

  • Diced onion, sautéed with olive oil and salt until transluscent and soft

  • Diced tomato

  • Shredded lettuce

  • Toasted Sandwich Slices on the side – for an extra 10g protein per serving. These are a great base for burger style tacos!

High-Protein Burger Sauce Recipe

This creamy sauce gives total In-N-Out vibes, but with a fraction of the sugar and way more protein.

Ingredients (makes ~¾ cup, ~5g protein per serving):

  • ½ cup whole milk Greek yogurt

  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion

  • 2 tbsp ketchup

  • 2 tsp yellow mustard

  • 1 tsp white wine vinegar

  • 1 tbsp relish

  • Pinch of salt

Directions:

Why You’ll Love This

  • High in protein – between the beef, sauce, and OA Gourmet, this bowl packs a serious protein punch

  • No added sugar – unlike most fast food sauces

  • Seriously satisfying – the flavor combo is next level
