Low Carb French Toast

Looking for a delicious breakfast that fits your low-carb or gluten-free lifestyle? This easy French toast recipe, made with our cauliflower Sandwich Slices, is the perfect solution! It's filling and flavorful—without the extra carbs.

INGREDIENTS:

• 3-6 OA Gourmet Original Sandwich Slices

• 2 eggs

• Splash of milk

• Splash of orange juice (optional, for a hint of citrus)

• ½ tsp vanilla extract

• Dash of cinnamon

PREPARATION:

1. Prepare the batter: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, orange juice (if using), vanilla extract, and a dash of cinnamon until well combined.

2. Coat the Slices: Dip each OA Gourmet Sandwich Slice into the mixture, ensuring both sides are fully coated.

3. Cook the toast: Heat a nonstick skillet or pan over medium heat, and add a little butter or your favorite nonstick spray. Place the Sandwich Slices on the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden and crispy.

4. Serve and enjoy: Serve your French toast with your favorite toppings—think fresh berries, low-glycemic syrup, or a sprinkle of powdered sweetener.

Tip: Add a splash of orange juice to the batter for a light citrus twist! You’ll love how it elevates the flavor.
